Cemfloor Manchester
Are you looking for a Cemfloor supplier in Manchester?
Cemfloor Manchester
If you are specifying Cemfloor for a Manchester project, Clockwork Screed can help.
Clockwork Screed supplies and installs Cemfloor liquid screed. Cemfloor is a cementitious liquid floor screed that is BBA (British Board of Agrément) approved. Clockwork Screed has been supplying domestic and commercial customers with high performance, cementitious liquid screed for several decades.

Cemfloor liquid floor screed – benefits
The benefits of Cemfloor liquid floor screed are:
Self-levelling
The screed is pumped onto the subfloor of the room where it self-levels without the need for manual intervention. This reduces labour costs and results in a smooth, level subfloor ready for a final floor covering such as tiles, floor boards or laminate.
Quick installation
The Clockwork Screed team can cover 1000m² of floor space within a day.
Thin application
Cemfloor can be laid as thinly as 25mm without compromising its strength or durability. This minimises costs for specifiers and their clients.
Ideal for underfloor heating systems
Because of its thin application and exceptional thermal conductivity, Cemfloor is ideal for underfloor heating systems. It enhances the performance of the system and helps to distribute the heat evenly throughout a room. Because Cemfloor self-compacts, it also avoids creating voids around the pipework.
Compatible with all standard floor coverings
Cemfloor is compatible with all standard floor coverings including tiles, carpets and timber floors.
Cemfloor dries very quickly
Cemfloor allows footfall within 24-48 hours which means other contractors can carry on with the project, saving costs and time.
Curing times and drying considerations
It is not necessary to use a curing membrane with Cemfloor.
To accelerate drying times, avoid severe draughts, direct sunlight or heating for the first 48 hours. The room should ideally be sealed during this time, and ventilated after 24-48 hours by opening windows and doors during the day to aid the drying process.
Floor finishes can be applied with moisture levels at 2.5%CM whereas anhydrite screeds need to get down to 0.5%CM, which can take several weeks.
Cemfloor applications
Cemfloor can be used for a range of applications.
It can be installed in residential properties including new builds, renovations and multistorey sites. Cemfloor is also ideal for the expansive coverage required for commercial buildings. The waterproof properties of Cemfloor also allow for it to be applied in wet rooms, which demonstrates the versatility of the product.
Where insulation has been applied, Cemfloor can be used as a floating screed on top. It can also be applied as an unbonded screed on a plastic membrane. Cemfloor is compatible with cementitious adhesives.
If you are looking for a bonded screed on existing concrete floors, Cemfloor can be used to level them out and create smooth surfaces.
