What are the benefits of poured insulation?
Aeromix poured insulation, expertly installed by Clockwork Screed, offers a number of benefits to your development:
- Ultra-low weight. When installed correctly, Aeromix insulation has a density as low as 93kgs m3.
- Environmentally friendly. During production and installation it creates less CO2, as it is made up with up to 80% less cement - only 80 kg / m3 are used.
- Fast drying times. Under normal conditions it will try as fast as 1cm per day and has a pumpability of 1000 m2/day.
AEROMIX APPLICATIONS
Ground floor insulation
Aeromix flowing insulation can achieve thermal conductivity as low as 0.037 W/mk, enabling projects to achieve their energy conservation requirements. It can be applied directly onto hardcore, significantly reducing the cement content of floor construction.
As a result, we can ensure floors are constructed in the most environmentally friendly way possible with greatly reduced drying-out times. We can also lay Aeromix on top of concrete sub-floors as well as over beam and block.
Intermediate floor solutions
Replacing traditional floor systems with Aeromix will result in significant weight reduction while still meeting the necessary load requirements of the floor. It is incredibly light weight at 93kgs m3
Its lightweight, thermal, and acoustic benefits can lead to savings on structural design. This reduces the need for insulation boards beneath underfloor heating systems and can also reduce the costs of meeting acoustic requirements.
